HEROCLIX EVENTS

BASICS - Games start at 6:30 unless otherwise noted. We observe the following House Rules - 1) No characters may be "In Contact With Oracle" who are not from the DC Universe. 2) No Colossals unless specifically allowed in the event description below, except Sentinels, Advanced Sentinels, Sinestro Constructs and any Colossal from GSX. 3) You may only use a Theme Team cancel if you have at least 2 BFCs with you to play and you are playing them.

Some terms for new players:

"Highlander" - no duplicates of non-generic figures.

"X% Floor" - Your build total must include at least that percentage of the most recently released full set. So, 50% Floor would mean that your build must include 50% points from the Captain America set.

"Floor" includes figures from the Captain America gravity feed, as they have Captain America set numbers.

It will also include figures from the Street Fighter and Gears of War sets because I want it to.

A request for all players

: Let's continue to focus on making sure we have the rules down and focus a little less on winning the game. I suggest that we all focus on not only declaring the physical action, i.e., "I move figure X to this space," but declare the action in game terms, i.e., "I give figure Y a move action and move him . . . or I give figure X a power action to running shot 2 squares and make a ranged combat attack on opponent O."

TUESDAY HEROCLIX EVENTS

November 8 - "Election Day": 400 points. Golden Age. Figures with the politician keyword have perplex and mastermind if they do not already. Multiplayer games. $2.00 Entry.

November 15 - 300 point multi-player game. Golden Age. "In honor of our Vets": Figures less than 151 points with the Soldier, Easy Company or Howling Commandos keywords may make two ranged attacks each turn when making a range combat attack. It is like Flurry, but with range. $2.00 entry.

November 22 - Thanksgiving game. 300 points, Modern Age. Forget the turkey, just bring your guns. Figures with Guns gain sharpshooter and +1 attack value. Multi-player games. No entry.

November 29 - The calm before the storm. 500 points Golden Age. 2-player games. No figure may use the flight or carry abilities, all clear grounded terrain is water terrain and no line of fire may be drawn at greater than range 6. No fee.

December 6 - Hulk release. Bring your money and knock figures around in this sealed event. $29.90 remains the price.

December 13 - 400 point Golden Age 25% Floor event

SUNDAY HEROCLIX EVENTS

All standard heroclix figures are legal. Only Colossal figures from GSX or that are Sentinels or Sinestro Constructs may be used (unless otherwise specified). You may ask me about any figure if you believe it is questionable.

There is a $2 entry fee towards booster prizes at each event. That means you need to wait to give your entry fee until everyone is here (so we know what we're getting).

6th - Battle for the Birthday Cake - 600 pts Feats Allowed, No Battlefields. Two special Birthday cake immobile objects will be placed in addition to normal objects. Characters occupying a square of cake may take a free action. Roll 1d6 - On a 1-4 That character heals 1 damage, on a 5-6 give that character two action tokens (that do not deal pushing) and knock it back one square of your opponent's choice. $2 Entry

13th - Sealed - 300 pt Sealed. Any two 5 figure boosters may be purchased.

20th - Bizzaro says Hulk Up! - 500 pts No feats No battlefields. Characters will begin on their last click and click forwards until KO. $2 Entry

27th - Spider-Island - 400 pts Battlefields allowed, no Feats. All characters under 100 pts gain Leap/Climb, Incapacitate and Super Senses.

HEROCLIX ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Call a relative and ask for money to buy the Superman set at the end of September! Should be a great set. Featuring figures from "Secret, Hidden, Special Crisis: Flashpoint". Couldn't they have at least chosen a Superman centered storyline?

Halo Clix is scheduled to release on the same day as Supes. We will ignore this until October . . . .
